The EscapeBox Germany GmbH was founded in 2002
with the ambition to develop and offer products and services in the
Internet server hosting area that stand out from the main stream.
In contrast to many other ISPs we do our own software development in key
areas, which makes us less dependent on potentially flawed third party
products, for a maximum of service quality.
While we operate out of Germany we consider ourselves
an international business, since national borders are
irrelevant on the Internet. Therefore, the official language we
conduct our business in is English, though we also speak German, of
course. On our web site and elsewhere we additionally provide documents in
German where national laws and regulations require it.

We publish some overall statistics (in the menu
to the left) about our server operation that we feel might be of interest
to our visitors. These numbers get updated on a daily basis and are taken
directly and automatically from our usage rating database. This
database contains resource usage information gathered from server
boxes that are activated and generate accounting data. It helps us
with the load balancing between server machines.
